Lemon curd desert

The photo doesn't really do it justice.

I was lazy and could not be bothered to use the piping bag, or toppings lol.

Never the less, this desert is delicious and fluffy and mousse like.

Sadly I don't really measure anything most of the time (except for baking really), but this recipe is easy enough to do even without measurements.

Ingredients:

🍋 Lemon Curd (I make my own, but it can also easily be bought at the store.), or any other flavour fruit curd you like.

🥛 Heavy whipping cream

How to:

Select individual desert glasses, or bowls. In the very bottom, put a layer of your fruit curd. Approx 1/4inch thic, or more, depending on your taste.

Now start whipping the heavy cream until it is stiff enough to make firm peaks. Take about 2/3 of the cream (leave enough for a decorative layer on top) and mix in more of your fruit curd. You can put in a lot, or a little, this is totally to taste. Layer it in the glass on top of the plain curd layer.

Now you can add a bit of sugar to the plain whipping cram, or leave it as is and top the desert with the plain layer. Finished!

If you like you could flavour the whipping cream with lavender sugar, to add another flavour layer to the desert. Top with a mint sprig, or some grated chocolate, or sprinkles or any other decoration of choice, or leave plain.

It is quick to make and tastes delicious. ❤
