This Palette couch has been in every corner of our living room. With various configurations. In various different covers.
It was a low, bohemian lounge couch and a guest bed.
We decided to make it into sort of a divan a while ago. And today we made some arm rests for it.
Best part about the new arm rests apart from the pillows no longer sliding off the sides?
They double as bookshelves!!!!
(These books used to be in stacks on the floor.)
Two of my new pillow covers are already on the couch. I am planning to cover the rest of the pillows as well and possibly make a new cover for the seat. I love the old horse blanket, but have different plans for it.
Now to put more books on the other side and finish straightening out the room.. i think I will eventually move the couch away from under the window and move it over to the other wall (where it was when we moved in). Because I like looking out if the window onto the greenbelt behind the house. Rather than looking into the kitchen lol. Gotta find new fairy lights to string around as well. I want to get some solar powered ones. The ones we have right now came from a free pile a few years ago and are slowly burning out. So since I have to get new ones anyway.... might as well get some that won't use electricity.
For now it shall be fine and we will live with it for just a while to see how it does.
